Grettel is a beautiful and adventurous quinceañera. Her photo session was full of excitement and spontaneity. We began early in the morning at the studio with her makeup and hair done by Gloria Pelo. We did some formal shots with her white quince dress, then off we went to Vizcaya. There she changed into a very elegant dark royal blue quince dress. Both dresses were from Zayas. Afterwards, she changed into an orangy-rust color outfit. Here is where Grettel transformed herself into a model. She had so much fun….and so did we. We ended the session back at the studio with the fun shots.
Our nephew, Jesus, and Jackie got married on Saturday, January 2, 2010, in the beautiful and historic town of St. Augustine. The ceremony took place in Castle Otttis. This castle was created as a sculpture “Done in remembrance of Jesus Christ.” It is an impression of an Irish castle of 1,000 years ago. It was created solely as an expression of art that incorporates spiritual and historic symbolism throughout. Castle Otttis gets its name from one of the three original creators whom was named “Ottis,” however, not being able to read or write correctly, spelled his name one day with three T’s instead of two. This gave way to another religious symbol all the men felt deeply about – the Holy Trinity – and since then, the castle has gone by the name Otttis and has stood as a creation to designate a place of peace upon this Earth. Jackie’s friends and co-workers from Fox-Mar Photography were there capturing their memories. These are just a few images Joe captured for our family. Lynette and Sergio decided to do their engagement photos at Disney World in Orlando, Florida since that is where Sergio proposed to her. They had a blast from the time they went into the park until they left late that night. Joe, Miguel and Chris had a great time capturing their special moment. Check out these pictures!

We participated in the great ABC bridal consulting event at the Miami Airport Marriott. Joe photographed the event. Ana Cruz from “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway” was the guest speaker. She gave the bridal consultants great tips and words of encouragement. Also, the spokesperson from “Brides Against Breast Cancer” spoked about this very important organization and is looking for volunteers for the upcoming events. We had the opportunity to talked to several wedding planners. Other vendors that participated were: DRE Films (videographer), Butterfly Invites (Invitations for every occasion), Dance All Night DJs, and Sweet Treat Delights (delicious treats!). We thank Martha Garcia and Maria Diaz for inviting us to this great event!
